I miss seeing you all! I hope you are all doing well and adjusting to your new routines. One thing you can all do to help keep yourself healthy is to make sure you are getting exercise everyday! Below is a list of activities that you can do at your house. Make sure you check my google classroom every week for PE lessons. Your teachers will send home the link to sign in. You can do the activities by yourself or ask a family member to do it with you for more fun!

KEEPING KIDS ACTIVE AT HOME
It’s recommended children get 60 minutes of exercise a day.
Here are some ideas for kids to do while at home.
Stay happy, stay healthy!!
- Take a walk
- Go for a bike ride
- Play with a ball (soccer, basketball, kickball, etc.)
- Do yoga
- Watch a fitness video
- Walk the dog
- Play pass with a family member (frisbee, lacrosse, football, etc.)
- Set up an obstacle course in the house or around the outside of your house
- Do strength exercises (jumping jacks, burpees, pushups, squats, lunges, plank, crunches, arm circles, wall sits, mountain climbers)
- Jump rope
- Practice cartwheels and handstands
- Make a hopscotch with chalk or tape
- Play volleyball with a balloon
- Do animal walks
- Make up a dance routine
- Go for a hike in the woods
- Ride a scooter or skateboard
- Have a dance party
- Play an active video game
- Play Simon Says or Follow the Leader
